This is me and dad helping Mom make dinner.

(This all helps Mom make dinner because she doesn't have to take care of me.)
Grandma Bonnie got me this singing Easter Bunny, and I'm just not sure about it. The bunny sings and the egg opens up and a little chick inside tweets at me. I don't really smile or laugh at it, but I cry when it stops, so mom has to keep squeezing bunny's foot (that makes him sing more). So here I am in my crib with bunny while mom is trying to iron, while having to come over every minute to squeeze bunny's foot.

My neighbor, Gus, is having his first birthday tomorrow, but his party was on Saturday. They threw all of us on the couch for a group picture. I'm the teeny tiny one on the far left getting elbowed by a very enthusiastically clapping George Owen. Oh, Gus is the second from the far right. If anyone is keeping track, this picture was pilfered from Lily's site because mom forgot her camera. Lily is the one in the very middle. Between George and Lily is Alice. Between Lily and Gus is Ridley. On the far right is Clive, Alice's brother.
So for the past week, mom has been introducing me to some NEW foods. First, she adulterated my old stand-by with this flaky 'cereal' stuff. That's okay I guess. I have about a teaspoon or two twice a day now, served elegantly out of a shot glass (I believe it's the 'rook' out of mom and dad's shot glass chess set). About a week ago, I tried sweet potatoes. Those were interesting. They're also really fun to get everywhere, and you can really SEE your progress when you get it all over your clothes and chair! But neither of those two foods top my new favorite . . . bananas! Yay for bananas! I used to kind of mull them over in my mouth, but now I just sit with my mouth open till mom puts the spoon in, and then I swallow them right up! I might even finish half of the jar before its three day expiration date. . .
