Summertime Hits the Palouse

Today was absolutely lovely (the bank sign read 83!) so when Papa got home we went for a walk in the arboretum. I had trouble with my directions though (we're supposed to be going UP this hill, now down it).


Mom and Dad let me sit and play with the dandelions (my favoritest of all flowers - I love to put them behind my ears).


And we saw lots of wildlife! We saw an itsy bitsy hummingbird, a bunny, and this cool turtle who was so intent on getting warm in the sun that he let us get really close!


It was all loads of fun, but we had to get going toward the end because we had to avoid THIS!
