Sweet Cheeks

I'm really walking now.

I've given up on crawling and walk most everywhere now. I walk with mom when we go shopping, I walk all around the house, you name it, I've got two feet on the floor ready to go. I can stand up from sitting in the middle of the floor so I don't even have to crawl over to something to pull myself up on. Here are some cute pictures of me walking.

Pop's Shirt

Here I am wearing my dad's WSU shirt. Now, for all my family in Eugene, I know that the Ducks beat the Cougars. My mother has taught me well. For all my family on the Palouse, hey, I'm wearing the t-shirt. I'm torn between two parents. What's a kid gonna do?!?

Watching the Kids

Grandma and Grandpa have these great windows that are the perfect height for my litle self. On Sunday, the neighbor kids were out sledding and I had a fun time watching them go down the hill. Maybe I'll get to go sledding tomorrow and I'll show you all the pictures.

Online Auction

I am now holding my first ever online auction. The item to be auctioned is a first edition, first picture, first time with crayons, first ever drawing by none other than myself. I expect that this will be quite valuable in about 20 years. The media is red and violet crayon on Office Depot printer paper. The reserve on this one of a kind item has been set at $0.39.

Bella just found this empty coffee cup and knew exactly what to do with it. Great. Juuuust great.

I speak!

I say a word now. Kind of. I say "Peek-a-boo" but to the untrained ear it could sound a lot more like "ptkabuh", but mom and dad know I'm saying "peek-a-boo" because I say it when I'm doing stuff like covering my head with a towel or trying to cover my eyes as shown in the following pictures (yes, sometimes I do miss and cover my ears instead).

Matthew 21:16

This is Bella's Mommy posting now. For the past few months, we've been working on Bella's little 'catechism'. For her, this means us asking, "Bella, where is God?" at which point she is to point in the general direction of 'up' (for quite a while though she just clapped for us when we demonstrated how to point up). This last week, she's been doing quite well and has pointed in the general direction of up quite reliably. This morning in church, Mr. Kohl was reading John 1 ("In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God..."). Well, when Bella heard "with God" and "was God", she pointed up. Praises!
